Dear Parent,
On behalf of the Parents Association Executive Board, thank you for making our 2010 First Annual Spring Fling a great success! Because of your generosity, we raised a net $28,200, which will support our academic program at Lowell.
We wish to extend our sincere thanks to the following individuals: High School liaison Rita Klitsberg and her husband, Barry Klitsberg, and Barbara Torres for their help at check-in; Lowell parent Robyn Stecher for her heartfelt book presentation; all our Lowell parents and friends who contributed valuable items to our Chinese auction packages; the Gentile family for giving their 50/50 raffle winnings back to Lowell (the 50/50 raffle raised $4,500); David Bolger and his wife, Julianne Brown, for selling $650 worth of raffles, and Lowell parent Richard Montero for his great job as emcee during the raffle and Chinese auction drawings. Congratulations to our Super Raffle winner, Caroline Clarke, for her win of the Samsung 50" Plasma TV, made possible by a donation from Dr. Ranga Krishna.

If you were unable to attend our event on May 6 at Kellari Parea Bistro, we missed you and we hope to see you at our next special event: "Love for Lowell 2010 Fall Benefit Brunch & Silent Auction" to be held on December 5, 2010 at The Boathouse at Central Park, NYC. (Details will be forthcoming.)

The Parents Association
- Includes all Lowell School families
- Helps further the mission and ideals of The Lowell School
- Supports the financial well-being of Lowell through fundraising activities
- Serves as a networking opportunity for parents to share views and opinions with the school's leadership
- Meets during school year and partakes in mini-workshops and/or guest speaker presentations (dates to be determined)
- Sponsors a variety of fundraising activities and events for the school community comprised of students, parents and staff. This includes: Scholastic Book Fair (Elem/Middle School); ING/NYC Marathon; Annual Spring Fling, and Family Social Event/Outing
